In computing, an expansion card (also called an expansion board, adapter card or accessory card) is a printed circuit board that can be inserted into an electrical connector, or expansion slot (also referred to as a bus slot) on a computer's motherboard (see also backplane) to add functionality to a computer system. The credit limit on the add-on card is generally the same as that on the primary Credit Card. In some cases, the limit of credit on add-on cards is less than that of the primary card. Thus, it is at the discretion of banks to decide the credit limit on add-on cards.
